In Osaka Umeda, an international main street, we have set up a signboard for advertisement. 'Umeda Sky Building' is famous as a worldwide sightseeing spot on this street. Our shop is along the way of this access. Among the people going to-and-fro there, some are involved in baseball who would like to drop in at our shop for fun.
A shop selling secondhand baseball equipment in a unrefined, ages-old building is rare, and gradually it has become a sightseeing spot by rumor. Particularly as a side trip spot after watching games of National High School Baseball Championship at Koshien in spring and summer, professional games at Kyocera Dome Osaka, people of various races from all of the world drop in at our shop, and the rumor on our shop has gone around.
Our staffs who have just known Japanese people till now have become able to greet from 'Where are you from?' at beginning, and 'Please take care', 'Have a good trip!' at the end. After a lot of talk with foreign customers, we feel that there are lots of similarity in feeling, thinking and sensitivity with Japanese people even with different appearances, and there must be something in common in the world.
